At the heart of the mixer is Allen & Heath’s 96kHz XCVI processing engine, delivering exceptional audio clarity and low-latency performance. Updated microphone preamps and high-performance AD/DA converters ensure pristine signal quality from input to output. The mixer supports up to 38 inputs to mix, including 32 mono or linkable channels and three stereo channels, providing ample capacity for live productions, installations, conferences, houses of worship, and broadcast environments.

The Qu-5 features a redesigned interface centered around a responsive 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and channel strip displays that provide instant visual feedback for channel identification and level monitoring. Four customizable channel layers and eight programmable SoftKeys allow engineers to tailor the workflow to their specific requirements.

Comprehensive recording capabilities include a 32×32 USB-C audio interface, SD card multitrack recording, and stereo recording and playback through USB storage devices.
