The Allen & Heath dLive DM48 MixRack is a professional-grade digital stage box mixer engineered for large-scale live sound productions, broadcast environments, touring applications, and complex installed audio systems. Serving as the central processing engine of the dLive ecosystem, the DM48 combines extensive local connectivity with advanced digital signal processing to deliver exceptional audio performance and operational flexibility.

At the core of the system is Allen & Heath’s XCVI Core architecture, featuring six parallel mixing engines and 36 virtual processing cores. This powerful platform supports up to 160 × 64 channels of processing at 96kHz, providing 128 full input channels, 16 stereo effects returns, and a configurable 64-bus architecture. Advanced FPGA routing technology enables thousands of simultaneous audio paths while maintaining signal integrity, phase alignment, and reliable performance in demanding environments.

The DM48 incorporates DEEP processing technology, enabling premium EQ, compressor, and dynamics emulations directly within the channel architecture. This integrated processing approach preserves valuable effects resources while delivering low-latency operation and studio-quality sound shaping. The system also includes access to the RackExtra FX library, offering a comprehensive collection of reverbs, delays, modulation effects, multiband compressors, vocal processors, and dynamic control tools.

Designed for mission-critical applications, the DM48 features dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies to maximize operational reliability. Three expansion slots support Dante, Waves, MADI, ACE, and SoundGrid networking options, allowing seamless integration into professional audio infrastructures.
