The Allen & Heath SQ-6 is a powerful 48-channel digital mixer engineered for professional live sound, AV installations, conferences, broadcast productions, and monitoring applications. Built around Allen & Heath’s renowned 96kHz XCVI FPGA processing platform, the SQ-6 delivers exceptional audio fidelity, ultra-low latency performance, and comprehensive processing capabilities within a highly intuitive mixing environment.

Designed to provide enhanced control compared to smaller models, the SQ-6 features 25 motorized faders, including a dedicated master fader, 24 onboard microphone preamps, 16 assignable SoftKeys, and 4 assignable Soft Rotaries. A high-resolution 7-inch capacitive touchscreen serves as the central control interface, enabling fast navigation, custom channel organization, drag-and-drop assignment, color coding, and efficient workflow management.

Comprehensive onboard processing includes high-pass filters, advanced gating, four-band parametric equalization, compressors, graphic EQ, and extensive dynamics control across all input channels and mix buses. Eight stereo FX engines with dedicated stereo returns provide access to the acclaimed RackExtra effects library, offering professional reverbs, delays, modulation effects, and other studio-quality processing tools without consuming input channels.

The integrated 32×32 USB audio interface supports multitrack recording, playback, live streaming, and virtual soundcheck applications. The built-in SQ-Drive system enables direct USB recording and playback without requiring external computers or audio interfaces. Advanced Automatic Mic Mixing capabilities make the SQ-6 particularly suitable for conferences, panel discussions, corporate events, and broadcast productions.
