Allen & Heath ZED60-14FX Live and Studio Mixer
The Allen & Heath ZED60-14FX is a professional compact mixer designed for musicians, recording engineers, and live sound applications requiring flexible connectivity and high-quality audio performance. Combining premium analogue circuitry, integrated digital effects, and USB audio interfacing, the mixer provides an ideal solution for live mixing, recording, and project studio environments.
The mixer offers eight mono input channels, including six mic/line inputs and two dedicated Hi-Z instrument channels designed for direct connection of electric guitars and basses. The Class-A FET circuitry on channels 7 and 8 delivers warm, tube-like characteristics and accommodates low-output instruments without requiring external DI boxes. All mono channels feature a responsive 3-band EQ with sweepable mids and a high-pass filter for precise tonal control and removal of unwanted low-frequency content.
Two stereo channels are also provided for keyboards, media players, and additional line-level sources, each equipped with a 2-band EQ section. Every channel can be assigned to a dedicated recording bus, enabling direct recording to a computer through the USB interface or to external recording devices through the stereo record outputs.
The integrated DSP engine includes sixteen professional effects consisting of multiple reverbs, delays, chorus, flanger, and combined delay-reverb algorithms. Derived from Allen & Heath’s flagship digital consoles, these effects provide low-noise and low-distortion processing for both live and studio applications.
With balanced XLR outputs, dedicated auxiliary and effects sends, flexible monitoring options, and robust construction, the Allen & Heath ZED60-14FX delivers extensive functionality and professional audio performance in a compact mixer design.
