The Bose Professional ControlSpace EX-12AEC is a dedicated acoustic echo cancellation processor designed to expand the conferencing capacity of a ControlSpace EX-1280C system. Rather than adding another full conferencing processor, the EX-12AEC provides additional AEC channels that can be paired with an EX-1280C to support larger or more complex conferencing environments.
With an open-architecture design, the EX-12AEC delivers twelve acoustic echo cancellers alongside 16×16 Dante connectivity, giving integrators the channel capacity needed for boardrooms, large conference rooms, distance-learning spaces, and divisible rooms that can be joined or split depending on the day’s requirements.
Adaptable noise cancellation, using non-linear processing and comfort noise on each AEC channel, helps keep call audio clear even in acoustically challenging spaces. Because the EX-12AEC supports multiple references, it can complement one or more EX-1280C processors across a facility, sharing AEC capacity where it is needed most.
A front-panel interface with a large OLED display and rotary encoder simplifies setting network parameters and monitoring channel activity directly at the unit. This UK version is configured for 230V operation and is typically deployed in operations centers, multipurpose venues, and other high-demand conferencing spaces.
