The Ecler VEO-XPT412 is a professional HDBaseT extension kit that includes both a transmitter and a receiver, built for applications requiring exceptionally long HDMI signal reach. Its 18Gbps HDMI connectors allow 4K video signals at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling to be extended up to 120 metres, or 1080p signals up to 150 metres, all over a single Cat 5e or higher cable using Colour Space Conversion technology as specified in the HDMI 2.0b standard.

Both the transmitter and receiver units feature a stereo unbalanced audio output on a Euroblock connector, letting sound be extracted separately for a dedicated sound system at either end of the run. This makes the VEO-XPT412 useful not just for extending video to a distant display, but also for feeding audio into a room’s existing sound reinforcement setup.

A bidirectional PoH (Power over HDBaseT) feature means only one power supply is needed for the entire kit, connected to either the transmitter or the receiver depending on which end of the installation has easier access to mains power. This flexibility simplifies cable planning, particularly in installations where running power to both ends would be inconvenient.

RS-232 and bidirectional IR extension are also supported, letting control signals travel alongside the video and audio over the same Cat cable run. Compact and easy to use, the VEO-XPT412 suits large venues, auditoriums, sports facilities and campus buildings where displays sit far beyond the reach of standard HDBaseT extenders.
