Ecler VEO-XTT44 4K HDBaseT extender/scaler transmitter
The Ecler VEO-XTT44 is a professional HDBaseT transmitter built for HDMI extension of High Dynamic Range (HDR) formats, supporting HDMI video resolution up to 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 content protection. Used together with the matching VEO-XRT44 receiver, it extends 4K signals to distances up to 40 metres and 1080p signals up to 70 metres over a single CATx cable.
A built-in scaling function allows a 1080p input to be automatically upgraded to 4K output, useful when the display expects a native 4K signal even though the connected source is only Full HD. Advanced EDID management gives installers a choice between multiple built-in settings or fully customised EDID, ensuring reliable handshakes between varied source and display combinations.
Bidirectional PoH (Power over HDBaseT) lets only one power supply be used across the whole extension link, connected to either the transmitter or the receiver as installation conditions require. Audio de-embedding and ARC (Audio Return Channel) support are built in, alongside bidirectional IR and RS-232 pass-through for extending control signals along with the video.
A video pattern generator is included in the transmitter for testing purposes during installation, letting technicians verify the video path is working correctly before connecting a live source. This combination of features makes the VEO-XTT44 an ideal solution for residential and commercial applications using the latest 4K/UHD and HDR sources and displays.
