The JBL AC599 is a compact 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed for fixed-installation applications. Made in China, it is part of JBL’s AE Application Engineered Series, offering high-quality sound and versatile installation options for performing spaces, clubs, houses of worship, multimedia areas, retail and hospitality spaces, presentation suites, and educational facilities.
This loudspeaker combines a 384 mm (15-inch) low-frequency driver with a 25 mm (1-inch) exit/35 mm (1.5-inch) diaphragm compression driver, producing deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. The 90° x 90° waveguide provides uniform sound coverage in both vertical and horizontal orientations. High-slope passive crossovers minimize band overlap and ensure controlled off-axis response.
The cabinet is constructed from 15 mm multi-ply hardwood plywood with a durable black textured finish. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors with screw terminals provide secure signal connections. Multiple M10 suspension points and rear-threaded inserts enable versatile mounting using optional U-brackets, overhead suspension brackets, or wall-mount brackets.
