The JBL CBT 100LA-1 black line array column loudspeaker utilizes Constant Beamwidth Technology™ to provide consistent vertical coverage while minimizing narrow beaming and out-of-coverage lobing. Featuring sixteen 50 mm (2 in) full-range drivers, this speaker delivers uniform sound distribution, ideal for venues requiring controlled pattern performance and high intelligibility.

The vertical coverage is adjustable between 15° for long-throw applications and 40° for medium-throw, with a fixed 150° horizontal coverage. Switchable voicing enables either a flat response for music or a mid-range presence peak for speech. A built-in 70V/100V multi-tap transformer and direct 8-ohm input offer versatile integration into distributed speaker systems.

The CBT 100LA-1 black is built with a fiberglass-reinforced ABS cabinet and painted aluminum grille for durability and professional aesthetics. The included swivel (pan)/tilt wall bracket allows continuous horizontal and vertical adjustment, while 18 M6 threaded insert points enable secure suspension or mounting with third-party brackets. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, it is IP55-rated when used with the optional MTC-PC2 terminal panel cover, offering protection against moisture, UV, and salt spray.
