PD6200 Series 8-inch 2-Way Horn-Loaded Speaker
The PD6200 Series 8-inch 2-Way Horn-Loaded Speaker is engineered for professional applications requiring high output performance with precise pattern control. Designed as a mid-high frequency loudspeaker system, it delivers exceptional clarity, controlled dispersion, and high continuous SPL capability for demanding installed sound environments.
At the core of the system is a 200 mm (8 in) dual-coil CMCD™ cone midrange compression driver. This high-power transducer provides excellent sensitivity, extended bandwidth, low distortion, and improved phase coherence, ensuring consistent and accurate midrange reproduction even at elevated output levels. Complementing the midrange section is a large format neodymium high-frequency compression driver that delivers clear, intelligible projection with strong high-frequency detail.
The large PT Progressive Transition waveguides are engineered to maintain precise coverage control while minimizing distortion at high SPL levels. Multiple coverage options are available, including 40° x 30°, 60° x 40°, 60° x 60°, and 90° x 50°, allowing system designers to tailor dispersion to venue requirements. Rotatable waveguides support both horizontal and vertical cabinet orientation for flexible installation.
The system supports bi-amp or passive crossover modes, utilizing a 6th order Linkwitz-Riley network at 1.7 kHz for accurate frequency division. The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from 16 mm exterior-grade 11-ply Finnish birch plywood, ensuring structural integrity and acoustic stability. With extensive suspension points, durable DuraFlex finish, and professional input connectivity, the PD6200 Series 8-inch 2-Way Horn-Loaded Speaker delivers precision directivity, high output, and installation versatility.
