Equipped with a 908G 8-inch ferrite woofer and a JBL 2408H-2 1.5-inch poly-annular diaphragm compression driver, the PRX908 provides wide frequency coverage with smooth low-frequency extension and highly intelligible highs. The updated JBL image control waveguide enhances dispersion, while low-noise, low-distortion gain staging ensures clarity even at maximum volume. The Class D amplifier delivers 1,000 W RMS (2,000 W peak) for powerful sound output with efficient energy use.

The PRX908 features onboard DSP accessible via a color LCD screen or the JBL Pro Connect app. The system includes 12-band parametric EQ, dbx DriveRack technology with Automatic Feedback Suppression, soft limiter, speaker delay, and optimized presets for pairing with subwoofers. Through the JBL Pro Connect app, users can control up to 10 speakers, access speaker snapshots, grouping, and integrate with JBL EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE, and EON700 systems.

The polypropylene/talcum composite cabinet features computer-modeled internal ribbing for improved rigidity, acoustic performance, and durability. G-Sensor automatic orientation detection optimizes tuning for main or monitor operation. The PRX908 offers versatile mounting options with dual 36 mm pole sockets and six M10 suspension points, and its quiet, fanless design ensures ultra-low latency and reliable operation in live performance environments.
