The JBL PRX425 is a dual fifteen-inch, two-way loudspeaker designed for high-performance live sound applications. With a frequency response of 61 Hz – 16 kHz and low-frequency extension down to 48 Hz, this cabinet ensures rich, punchy bass along with clear mid and high-frequency reproduction, making it perfect for DJs, bands, and vocal or instrument reinforcement.

Its 90° x 50° coverage pattern provides even sound distribution for both stage monitoring and audience areas. The rugged DuraFlex™ coated plywood enclosure and heavy-duty 16-gauge protective steel grille ensure durability for touring, live events, and repeated setups. JBL’s SonicGuard™ technology protects the high-frequency drivers from excess power without interrupting performance, maintaining reliable sound even at high output levels.

The PRX425 features dual Neutrik® Speakon® NL-2 / ¼” combo jacks for flexible connectivity and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, with a power rating of 600 W continuous, 1,200 W program, and 2,400 W peak, capable of producing 134 dB SPL peak. With a compact yet robust design weighing 33.5 kg (74 lbs), the PRX425 is portable while providing professional-grade sound quality in a single cabinet.
