JBL VLA-C2100 Two-Way Full Range Loudspeaker with Dual 10-inch Differential Drive LF
The JBL VLA-C2100 is engineered using JBL’s proven transducer technologies to deliver powerful, consistent performance in fixed installation environments. The low-frequency section incorporates two 10-inch 2261 Differential Drive® woofers, each equipped with dual 3-inch voice coils and neodymium magnet structures for high efficiency, reduced weight, and impressive output.
The high-frequency section is horn-loaded for enhanced sensitivity and precise pattern control. It utilizes three D2415 compression drivers featuring 1.5-inch annular diaphragms, dual voice coils, and neodymium motors, ensuring clear, detailed high-frequency reproduction across the coverage area.
The enclosure is constructed from multi-layer reinforced fiberglass with steel end panels and 18 mm birch plywood internal bracing for durability and structural strength. A zinc-plated, powder-coated 14-gauge perforated steel grille protects the front, backed with acoustically transparent cloth and a hydrophobic mesh layer, along with a waterproof rail system. With an IP55 rating, the loudspeaker is protected against dust and water jets, making it suitable for outdoor and weather-exposed installations.
The integrated rigging system allows inter-enclosure angles to be selected during array assembly for precise coverage control. Optional accessories such as a rigging frame, pull-back bar, and cardioid subwoofer kit expand configuration flexibility. The VLA-C2100 can be operated in full-range passive mode or bi-amplified for maximum SPL and system optimization.
