The JBL AC28 is a compact, high-performance 2-way loudspeaker designed for professional fixed-installation applications. Manufactured in Mexico, it is part of JBL’s AE Compact family within the AE Series, offering high-fidelity sound, consistent coverage, and versatile mounting options. The AC28 is ideal for venues requiring reliable, powerful audio, including performing arts facilities, auditoriums, houses of worship, live and dance clubs, and themed entertainment spaces.

This model features two 205 mm (8-inch) low-frequency drivers paired with a 25 mm (1-inch) exit compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5-inch) voice coil, producing detailed mids, strong bass, and crisp high frequencies. Its PT™ Progressive Transition rotatable waveguide provides a 90° x 50° coverage pattern, allowing flexible orientation for optimized horizontal and vertical sound distribution. FIR-style tuning and passive crossovers ensure even frequency and phase response, delivering consistent coverage and professional-quality sound across the listening area.

The enclosure is constructed from 12 mm and 15 mm exterior-grade multi-ply hardwood plywood with a white textured finish for durability and seamless integration into various spaces. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors and screw terminals provide secure and reliable connections. Multiple M8 suspension points allow flexible mounting using optional U-brackets, MultiMount® brackets, or stand mount accessories.
