The JBL AC299 is a compact, professional 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed for fixed-installation applications. Manufactured in China, it belongs to JBL’s AE Application Engineered Series, offering consistent high-quality sound and versatile mounting options for a wide variety of spaces. The AC299 is ideal for performing spaces, clubs, houses of worship, multimedia venues, retail and hospitality areas, presentation suites, and educational facilities.
This model features a 310 mm (12-inch) low-frequency driver and a 25 mm (1-inch) exit compression driver with a 35 mm (1.5-inch) voice coil. Its 90° x 90° waveguide provides controlled, uniform coverage in both horizontal and vertical orientations, ensuring even sound distribution. High-slope passive crossovers minimize band overlap, delivering precise, clear audio across the frequency spectrum.
The enclosure is built from 15 mm multi-ply hardwood plywood with a black textured finish for durability and professional aesthetics. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors with screw terminals provide secure connections. Multiple M10 suspension points and additional rear inserts support a variety of mounting options, including U-brackets, L-brackets, and wall-mount systems.
