The JBL AM5215/26 is a medium-power, lightweight 15-inch two-way full-range loudspeaker, part of JBL’s AE Application Engineered Series, ideal for performing arts venues, auditoriums, houses of worship, live clubs, sports facilities, and themed entertainment spaces. Origin of country mexico, this white model combines robust low-frequency performance with precise high-frequency output, optimized for flexible installation.
The system incorporates a 380 mm (15-inch) JBL 265H-1 Differential Drive® low-frequency driver with a dual 50.8 mm (2-inch) voice coil and dual magnetic gap, delivering deep, controlled bass. High frequencies are reproduced by a JBL 2408H-1 compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5-inch) exit and 38 mm (1.5-inch) voice coil, ensuring clear, detailed treble.
The PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide is rotatable and offers a 120° x 60° coverage pattern, making it suitable for vertical or horizontal orientation. High-slope passive crossovers minimize band overlap, while well-controlled off-axis response enhances arrayability.
The trapezoidal cabinet is constructed from 16 mm exterior-grade birch plywood with 15-degree side angles for acoustic accuracy and durability. Fifteen M10 threaded suspension points allow secure mounting, compatible with the optional U-bracket model MTU-1.
