JBL AM5215/64 15-inch 2-Way Loudspeaker with 60° x 40° Horn in white is a medium-power, full-range loudspeaker system designed for professional sound reinforcement. It incorporates a JBL Differential Drive® 265H-1 380 mm (15 in) low-frequency driver with dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap, along with a 2408H-1 38 mm (1.5 in) exit high-frequency compression driver. The PT™ Progressive Transition waveguide ensures accurate coverage, low distortion, and consistent sound across a variety of listening environments.
The rotatable waveguide allows use in both vertical and horizontal orientations, making it suitable for auditoriums, performing arts facilities, worship venues, live clubs, dance clubs, sports arenas, and themed entertainment locations. High-slope passive networks reduce band overlap, and the controlled off-axis response enhances arrayability for complex audio setups. The system supports Bi-Amp and passive modes, with FIR tuning to optimize frequency response, phase alignment, and coverage consistency.
The trapezoidal enclosure is built from 16 mm exterior-grade birch plywood with 15° side angles and includes 15 suspension points for versatile rigging. A powder-coated steel grille with acoustically transparent foam protects the drivers without affecting clarity. Available in white, the JBL AM5215/64 provides reliable, professional-grade performance with clear, balanced sound suitable for medium-power applications.
