The JBL CBT 100LA-LS white line array column loudspeaker is designed for professional environments that demand both acoustic precision and certified life-safety performance. Using Constant Beamwidth Technology™, the system applies advanced analog delay beam-forming and amplitude tapering to achieve consistent vertical sound distribution, eliminating the narrow beaming and irregular coverage typical of conventional column loudspeakers.

Fitted with sixteen 50 mm (2 in) full-range drivers, the speaker delivers high speech intelligibility and balanced music reproduction across large spaces. The vertical coverage pattern is switchable between 40° for medium-throw installations and 15° for long-throw applications, while wide horizontal dispersion ensures even sound distribution throughout the listening area. Switchable voicing allows selection between flat music reproduction and enhanced mid-range projection for clear speech transmission.

The CBT 100LA-LS white is EN54-24 certified for life-safety systems when installed with the included MTC-PC2 terminal panel cover, making it suitable for evacuation systems, public facilities, transport hubs, educational institutions, and safety-critical infrastructure. A built-in 70V/100V transformer with 8-ohm direct capability allows seamless integration into distributed audio networks.

Its fiberglass-reinforced ABS cabinet with a painted aluminum grille provides long-term durability, while the included swivel (pan)/tilt wall bracket allows accurate aiming and flexible positioning. With IP55-rated protection when used with the optional panel cover, the CBT 100LA-LS white is suitable for both indoor and protected outdoor installations, delivering reliability, safety compliance, and controlled acoustic performance in a single system.
