JBL Model V90 Vertical Loudspeaker

The JBL Model V90 Vertical Loudspeaker is designed to provide high-intelligibility speech reproduction in demanding environments such as transport hubs, places of worship, atriums, shopping centers, and other reverberant spaces. By utilizing a preset vertical opening angle with a -4º steering angle, the loudspeaker accurately targets the listening plane when mounted flat on a vertical surface. This reduces incoherent reflections from walls or mounting surfaces, ensuring clear and intelligible sound for paging, announcements, and other communication needs.

Vertical or recessed mounting allows the Model V90 to remain architecturally unobtrusive, integrating seamlessly into modern building designs. Its EN 54-24 compliance ensures reliability in life safety applications, making it suitable for large venues, hospitality environments, and other areas where safety and intelligibility are critical.

Equipped with six 4-inch full-range drivers, the Model V90 achieves a horizontal coverage of 130º and vertical coverage of 30º, with a typical throw distance of up to 15 meters. Selectable transformer taps of 100 W, 50 W, and 25 W provide flexible installation options, while control switches allow adjustment of high-pass filtering and EQ correction. Pilot tone detection with a green LED indicator and compatibility with JBL 100 V IndustryAmp series amplifiers enhance system monitoring and integration.

Constructed with powder-coated steel, the enclosure is durable and suitable for outdoor installations (EN 54-24 Type B). Standard colors include grey or white enclosures with black speaker baffles, and optional accessories allow for customization according to installation requirements.
