PD6322 Dual 12-inch 3-Way Horn-Loaded Speaker
The PD6322 Dual 12-inch 3-Way Horn-Loaded Speaker is engineered for professional sound reinforcement applications requiring high output sensitivity and precise pattern control. As part of the Precision Directivity Series, it provides full-range three-way performance, making it ideal for standalone music or speech systems where low-frequency extension to 41 Hz is essential, or for integration with subwoofers to achieve extended bandwidth coverage.
The low-frequency section includes two 300 mm (12 in) transducers in a compact slot-loaded design, delivering deep bass while maintaining a controlled enclosure size. The midrange is handled by a CMCD cone midrange compression driver with an integral 200 mm Differential Drive dual 75 mm voice coil, offering high sensitivity, low distortion, extended bandwidth, and excellent phase coherence. High frequencies are reproduced through a large-format neodymium compression driver for clear and intelligible projection.
PT Progressive Transition waveguides ensure consistent pattern control and smooth frequency response across the entire output range while minimizing distortion at high SPL levels. The 60° x 60° horn configuration provides even horizontal and vertical coverage. Rotatable mid and high frequency waveguides allow flexible horizontal or vertical cabinet placement.
A steep-slope 6th order Linkwitz-Riley crossover at 1.5 kHz manages mid-high transitions, with switchable tri-amp or bi-amp operation for versatile installation options. Built from 16 mm exterior-grade 11-ply Finnish birch plywood in a trapezoidal enclosure and equipped with 20 M10 suspension points, the PD6322 provides durable construction and reliable high-performance sound reinforcement.
