The JBL VRX928LA 8 in. Two-Way Line Array Loudspeaker System is a lightweight, compact, high-performance speaker designed for professional line array setups. Each enclosure weighs only 12.7 kg (28 lb) and can be combined in arrays of up to six units, making it ideal for live events, touring productions, and permanent sound installations.

The system features an 8-inch Differential Drive® woofer paired with two 25 mm (1 in) neodymium compression drivers mounted on a constant curvature waveguide. This design allows the high-frequency drivers to function acoustically as a single unit, ensuring uniform sound dispersion and smooth coverage. Amplitude shading switches on each cabinet let users control the high-frequency output of each module in the array for precise acoustic adjustment.

Constructed from durable plywood and coated with JBL’s protective black DuraFlex finish, the VRX928LA is designed to withstand rigorous use. Dual-angle pole sockets provide flexible aiming of the enclosure, while optional line array frames or M10 eyebolts allow secure suspension for flown setups. Bi-amp or passive operation with a 2.0 kHz crossover frequency ensures consistent performance across the frequency spectrum.
