The Allen & Heath ME-1 Personal Monitor Mixer is a professional digital personal monitoring solution designed to give musicians, performers, presenters, and production teams direct control over their individual monitor mixes. As part of the ME Personal Mixing System, the ME-1 allows users to independently adjust levels, panning, grouping, EQ, and monitoring preferences without relying on the front-of-house or monitor engineer, improving workflow and enhancing performance confidence.

The mixer supports up to 40 audio sources delivered through a single Cat5 connection and allows control of up to 16 mono, stereo, or grouped sources simultaneously. Its intuitive interface combines assignable backlit keys, an OLED display, and a multifunction rotary encoder, enabling fast access to mix parameters even in low-light stage environments. Custom naming and automatic channel labeling simplify operation and help users quickly identify sources.

The integrated ambient microphone allows performers using in-ear monitors to remain aware of stage ambience and audience interaction without removing their earpieces. A dedicated 3-band master EQ and adjustable limiter provide tonal shaping and hearing protection, while onboard presets allow complete mix configurations to be stored and recalled instantly.

The ME-1 supports both daisy-chain and network switch deployment, making it suitable for large-scale monitoring systems. Compatible with Allen & Heath dLive, Avantis, SQ, GLD, and Qu platforms, it can also integrate with Dante, MADI, EtherSound, and Aviom environments through compatible expansion hardware. With PoE support, dual headphone outputs, balanced line output connectivity, USB data management, and flexible mounting options, the ME-1 delivers a powerful, scalable, and musician-friendly personal monitoring solution for live sound, worship venues, studios, conferences, and educational facilities.
