The Allen & Heath ZED60-10FX is a highly versatile compact mixer designed for musicians, live performers, and recording enthusiasts who require professional audio quality and flexible connectivity. Combining analogue mixing, USB audio interfacing, and integrated digital effects, the mixer is equally suited for live sound reinforcement, multitrack recording, and home studio applications.
The mixer provides four low-noise microphone and line input channels equipped with high-quality preamps and 3-band equalization. Channels 3 and 4 include dedicated Hi-Z Class-A FET instrument inputs that allow guitars and basses to connect directly without external DI boxes. A switchable 26 dB boost further enhances compatibility with low-output pickups while adding warm, tube-like tonal characteristics.
Two stereo channels support keyboards, media players, and additional line-level sources. Each mono channel features a sweepable midrange EQ, a 100 Hz high-pass filter, and dedicated auxiliary and effects sends, allowing precise control over monitor mixes and onboard processing. The mixer also includes individual mute, solo, and recording bus assignment controls for enhanced operational flexibility.
The integrated effects processor includes sixteen high-quality algorithms such as reverbs, delays, chorus, flanger, and doubler effects, derived from Allen & Heath’s flagship digital consoles. A dedicated parameter control allows users to shape and adjust the intensity of each effect in real time.
With balanced XLR outputs, separate monitor and recording buses, USB audio connectivity, and comprehensive monitoring options, the Allen & Heath ZED60-10FX delivers exceptional versatility and performance in a compact format.
