The Soundcraft Si Impact is a compact digital mixing console built for live sound engineers who want the simplicity of an analog workflow combined with the flexibility of digital mixing. Drawing on decades of Soundcraft live sound experience, the console pairs 32 onboard mic preamps and 27 analogue outputs with a 32-in/32-out USB audio interface, giving it 40 channels to mix as standard, expandable to 80 channels with a free firmware update.

The control surface features 17 motorized, multi-use faders with OLED name strips and Soundcraft’s patented FaderGlow illuminated fader system, a 5 inch color touchscreen, and dedicated controls for every key parameter, minimizing menu diving during a show. A 64×64 expansion slot and 64×32 expansion slot accept ViSi Connect option cards for MADI, Dante, AES/EBU, CobraNet, Aviom A-Net, and BLU Link connectivity.

Hardware-based DSP from HARMAN sister brands powers every channel, including four multi-effects engines from Lexicon, dynamics from dbx, and graphic equalization from BSS, all of which remain fully available regardless of how much other processing is in use. The built-in 32×32 USB interface enables direct multitrack recording and playback to a connected Mac or PC without additional hardware.

Connecting a Soundcraft Mini Stagebox 16i or 32i extends the Si Impact to up to 64 mic channels, while a second MADI option card and two stageboxes push the system to 96 microphone preamps and 80 channels to mix. Free iPad control via ViSi Remote rounds out a flexible package suited to houses of worship, theaters, corporate AV, and touring live sound applications.
