The Allen & Heath dLive CDM48 MixRack is a high-performance digital stage box and processing engine designed for demanding live sound environments. Powered by Allen & Heath’s advanced XCVI Core, the CDM48 serves as the central processing hub of a dLive system, delivering exceptional audio quality, flexible routing capabilities, and extensive processing resources for professional applications.

The MixRack provides 48 microphone/line inputs and 24 line outputs while supporting up to 128 input channels and 16 stereo effects returns with full processing. Its powerful XCVI Core enables processing for up to 160 x 64 channels at 96kHz. Featuring six parallel mixing engines and an FPGA router capable of handling up to 3,000 x 3,000 audio paths, the system offers outstanding performance with a configurable 64-bus architecture, variable bit-depth processing, and a 96-bit accumulator for enhanced headroom and precision.

Allen & Heath’s DEEP technology expands processing capabilities by integrating dynamic EQs, multiband compressors, and other effects directly into input and mix channels without consuming standard effects resources. The system includes access to the RackExtra FX portfolio, offering a wide range of reverb, delay, modulation, dynamics, and tonal enhancement tools. Sixteen dedicated FX slots with stereo returns allow engineers to build complex processing chains while maintaining maximum flexibility.

The CDM48 can operate with a dLive Surface for traditional console control or independently through laptop and tablet applications for surface-less mixing. This flexible approach is particularly useful for fly-in events, portable productions, and venues with limited space.
