Description
Audinate Dante AVIO 2-Channel Analog Output Adapter
The Audinate Dante AVIO 2-Channel Analog Output Adapter is designed to connect Dante network audio with conventional analog equipment. It provides two channels of analog output for applications such as powered loudspeakers, amplifiers, DSP processors, mixers, monitoring systems, and distributed audio installations. The adapter allows existing analog devices to participate in a Dante system without requiring a complete replacement of the downstream hardware.
Both analog outputs support balanced and unbalanced connections, with output levels selectable through Dante Controller. Available levels include +18 dBu, +4 dBu, 0 dBu, 0 dBV, and -10 dBV, allowing system designers to match signal levels to different types of analog equipment. The interface provides a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, greater than 100 dB dynamic range, and low total harmonic distortion at the specified operating level.
The network side uses an RJ45 connection and supports Dante Audio over IP as well as AES67 RTP transport. Power is supplied through Class 1 802.3af Power over Ethernet, reducing cabling requirements and eliminating the need for a dedicated local power adapter. Configurable Dante device latency of 1, 2, or 5 ms enables the unit to fit different networked audio workflows.
Support for 44.1, 48, and 96 kHz sample rates and 16-, 24-, and 32-bit audio makes the adapter suitable for varied Dante environments. Its compact AVIO format is useful for fixed installations, live sound, conferencing, education, hospitality, and other professional systems that need two analog outputs from a networked audio source.
