The Ecler VICSB8X is an in-ceiling subwoofer reinforcement loudspeaker delivering great sound performance for background music and paging applications. It features an 8-inch woofer, 80WRMS @ 8 ohm nominal power, and a 70/100V line transformer with multiple power tap connections, giving installers flexibility to match the speaker to a project’s amplifier and wiring standard.

It integrates a crossover filter, tuned to complement the low-frequency reinforcement role of this subwoofer model within a wider VIC series installation.

VIC series speakers provide excellent sound quality thanks to their infinite baffle philosophy and careful selection of components, offering an installer-friendly design that provides unparalleled speed and versatility of installation on any ceiling material.

The VIC series features a sleek, minimalist design with a magnetic grille that easily attaches to the speaker, making installation easy while also allowing the grille to be painted to match the decor of the space. This X version includes a back can and tile bridge anchors for false ceiling mounting, giving installers more flexibility and versatile installation choices, along with pressure clamp terminals for stripped cable.
