The PD743i Dual 8-inch 2-Way High Output Horn-Loaded Speaker is a Precision Directivity™ loudspeaker designed for high-impact professional sound reinforcement. Capable of delivering over 104 dB SPL continuously at distances up to 50 meters (165 ft), it is ideal for standalone use or clustered with other PD family modules for distributed systems.

This speaker features dual 8-inch CMCD-82H horn-loaded cone midrange drivers, producing 6 dB greater output than traditional designs. Two 2432H compression drivers with 3-inch diaphragms ensure clear, intelligible high-frequency projection. The IFS™ Interference Free Summation dual HF driver module eliminates destructive interference, further increasing efficiency and output.

The 40° x 30° symmetrical coverage pattern allows flexible horizontal or vertical orientation in arrays, while pattern control is maintained down to 400 Hz. A co-axial mid/high-frequency layout improves arrayability and minimizes enclosure size, allowing tighter clusters and better directivity. The integrated rigging system simplifies installation and alignment for professional touring or fixed systems.

Constructed from 16 mm and 18 mm exterior-grade birch plywood with trapezoidal and rectangular panels, the enclosure ensures durability while maintaining professional acoustic performance. Optional WRC/WRX versions provide weather resistance for direct exposure and extreme environments, with stainless steel hardware and multi-layer grille assemblies.
