The Soundcraft MSB-32R is a compact digital stagebox designed to extend the input and output capacity of Si series digital consoles. Positioned on stage near the performers, the MSB-32R converts analog microphone and line signals to digital audio for transport back to the console over a single MADI-based connection, eliminating the need for a long analog multicore snake.

The stagebox provides 32 remote-controlled microphone/line inputs with switchable phantom power, along with 16 line outputs for monitor sends, in-ear feeds, or other stage-side audio requirements. The 32-channel configuration suits larger stage plots and full-band setups that need extensive local input capacity in a single stagebox.

All input gain, phantom power, and routing settings on the stagebox are controlled remotely from the connected Si console, so engineers do not need to make adjustments at the stage end once the show is running. This remote control capability speeds up setup and reduces the chance of accidental changes to stage-side settings during a performance.

Compatible with the Si Impact, Si Expression, and Si Performer console ranges via a MADI-USB combo option card, the MSB-32R is a practical way to add high-channel-count, low-noise digital I/O to a touring or installed Si system without the weight and setup time of a traditional analog snake.
