The JBL AC599 is a compact 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed for fixed-installation applications. Made in China, it is part of JBL’s AE Application Engineered Series, offering premium sound quality and flexible installation options for performing spaces, clubs, houses of worship, multimedia areas, retail and hospitality spaces, presentation suites, and educational facilities.
This loudspeaker combines a 384 mm (15-inch) low-frequency driver with a 25 mm (1-inch) exit/35 mm (1.5-inch) diaphragm compression driver, providing deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. The 90° x 90° waveguide ensures uniform sound coverage in both vertical and horizontal orientations. High-slope passive crossovers minimize band overlap and maintain controlled off-axis response.
The cabinet is constructed from 15 mm multi-ply hardwood plywood with a durable white finish. Dual Neutrik NL4 connectors with screw terminals provide secure signal connections. Multiple M10 suspension points and rear-threaded inserts allow flexible mounting using optional U-brackets, overhead suspension brackets, or wall-mount brackets.
