Building upon the proven Qu platform, the Qu-5D incorporates Allen & Heath’s powerful 96kHz XCVI processing engine, enhanced workflow features, and integrated Dante networking to provide a versatile solution for demanding audio applications.

Equipped with 16 high-quality microphone preamps and support for up to 38 channels to mix, the Qu-5D offers extensive flexibility for live performances, conferences, houses of worship, corporate events, broadcast productions, and fixed installations. The mixer features a responsive 7-inch capacitive touchscreen, channel strip displays, chromatic metering, and 17 motorized faders, enabling fast and intuitive operation during setup and live mixing.

A key advantage of the Qu-5D is its built-in 16×16 Dante interface operating at both 48kHz and 96kHz. This allows seamless integration with Dante-enabled audio networks, providing efficient audio distribution and connectivity within larger sound systems. The integrated SLink port further expands connectivity by supporting Allen & Heath stage boxes and digital audio expansion products.

The mixer includes six stereo FX engines with dedicated returns, DEEP Processing compatibility, Gain Assistant, Feedback Assistant, and a fully integrated 32-channel Automatic Mic Mixer. These tools help streamline setup, optimize gain structure, suppress feedback, and improve speech intelligibility in complex audio environments.
