The Soundweb London BLU-326 is a networked i/o expander within the BSS BLU link ecosystem, offering configurable input/output architecture through four card slots that can each accept an Analog Input, Analog Output, Digital Input, Digital Output, AEC Input, or Telephone Hybrid card. This modular approach lets system designers tailor the exact I/O mix needed for a given installation without paying for unused capacity.

As a dedicated I/O expander, the BLU-326 focuses on reliably adding input and output capacity to a larger Soundweb London system, with configuration performed through HiQnet Audio Architect using the same drag-and-drop logic object palette shared across the Soundweb London product family.

The BLU-326 features Dante / AES67 networked audio with primary and secondary ports for fault tolerance, controlled through a separate dedicated Ethernet port. Support for Dante 4.0 firmware allows integration with Dante Domain Manager for larger, IT-managed audio networks.

The BLU-326 is EN 54-16 compliant, meeting the requirements for use within life safety and emergency voice evacuation systems, making it suitable for installations where regulatory compliance for emergency announcements is required alongside day-to-day audio distribution.

A low-latency, fault-tolerant 256-channel digital audio bus runs over standard Category 5e cabling at distances of up to 100 meters between compatible devices, extendable beyond 40 kilometers using fiber optic media converters. The BLU-326 is fully compatible with the wider Soundweb London family, and 12 Control Inputs plus 6 Logic Outputs allow it to be integrated with GPIO-compatible third-party control systems.
