The Duran Audio Intellivox-DSX500 full-range loudspeaker array is the flagship model of the slim line DSX range, engineered to provide even, high-quality audio over areas up to 70 meters. Featuring twenty-eight custom 4” loudspeakers and eight 1” dome tweeters, the array achieves long throw performance and enhanced low-mid frequency control. A sixteen-channel class-D amplifier powered by a sophisticated switched mode power supply ensures reliable operation over extended periods. The loudspeakers are arranged according to Duran Audio’s patented algorithm for optimized coverage.

The dome tweeters improve horizontal dispersion at high frequencies while enhancing overall sound quality for both speech and music. Integrated surveillance functions meet stringent Voice Alarm and life safety requirements. The proprietary WinControl software allows intuitive control of beam steering, audio processing, and monitoring features, enabling precise adjustment in very large, highly reverberant, and architecturally sensitive spaces.

The array’s extended low-frequency response can be further enhanced using JBL subwoofer systems, making the Intellivox-DSX500 ideal for transport hubs, large conference facilities, theatres, lecture halls, atriums, museums, and large places of worship. Its slim design, high-fidelity reproduction, and advanced DSP technology ensure intelligible sound, flexible operation, and long-term reliability in demanding acoustic environments.
