The PD6200 8-inch 2-Way Horn-Loaded Speaker is designed for applications requiring high output capability combined with excellent pattern control. As part of the Precision Directivity Series, it delivers controlled mid-high frequency performance with consistent coverage and high continuous SPL capability, making it suitable for professional installed sound systems.

The system features a high power 200 mm (8 in) dual-coil CMCD cone midrange compression driver. This advanced driver design provides high sensitivity, extended bandwidth, low distortion, and improved phase coherence, ensuring accurate and powerful midrange reproduction even under demanding operating conditions. Complementing the midrange section is a large format neodymium high-frequency compression driver that produces clear, intelligible high-frequency projection with excellent articulation.

Equipped with large PT Progressive Transition waveguides, the PD6200 provides controlled 60° x 40° dispersion along with additional coverage pattern options including 40° x 30°, 60° x 60°, and 90° x 50°. These waveguides maintain smooth frequency response while minimizing distortion at elevated SPL levels. Rotatable waveguides allow flexible cabinet orientation in either horizontal or vertical configurations.

The loudspeaker supports bi-amp and passive crossover modes with a 6th order Linkwitz-Riley crossover at 1.7 kHz for precise frequency division. The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed from 16 mm exterior-grade 11-ply Finnish birch plywood for structural durability and acoustic stability. With multiple suspension points, professional connectivity, and weather-resistant options available, the PD6200 provides reliable high-output performance with precise directivity control.
