The Allen & Heath Qu-SB is a compact, rackmountable digital mixer designed for professional live sound reinforcement, installed audio systems, and multitrack recording applications. Combining the processing capabilities of the Qu series with a space-saving console-less design, the Qu-SB delivers powerful mixing functionality while being controlled remotely through the Qu-Pad iPad application.

Equipped with 16 recallable AnalogiQ microphone preamps, the mixer provides transparent audio performance with low distortion, ultra-low noise, and precise gain control. Its advanced 5-core ARM processing architecture supports comprehensive channel processing, including 4-band parametric EQ, compression, gating, delay, filtering, and dynamics control on every input and output channel.

The Qu-SB features a built-in 32×32 USB audio interface for multitrack recording and playback, making it suitable for both live production and studio environments. Integrated Qu-Drive technology allows direct multitrack recording and playback to USB storage devices without requiring a computer, enabling efficient virtual soundchecks and event capture.

Four stereo iLive FX engines provide high-quality reverbs, delays, modulation effects, and processing derived from Allen & Heath’s professional touring systems. The mixer also incorporates an Automatic Microphone Mixer (AMM), which intelligently manages multiple open microphones during conferences, meetings, and panel discussions while reducing background noise and feedback.

Expansion capabilities are provided through the dSNAKE remote audio port, allowing system growth up to 38 inputs using compatible AudioRack expanders. Compatibility with the ME Personal Mixing System gives performers independent monitor control, while wireless operation through Qu-Pad and Qu-You applications enables flexible mixing from anywhere within the venue. The Qu-SB offers professional-grade audio quality, extensive processing, and scalable connectivity in a compact 4U rackmount format.
